The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

Hi all! I was reading on tutorials how to flash a bios to remove password from a bios, and I ended up reading the EC chip instead of the main bios chip, it only gave me a .bin file of 1,024kb, I learned later that that is the EC chip not the main bios chip (I should have read the tutorials here instead before attempting anything, my bad), I went to flash the original backup, the 1,024kb size file into the same chip and laptop is not powering up anymore. Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Hi everyone, hope everyone's having a great day.
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 3 for repair. (20LES3T900)
I looked in every corner and the laptop seems fine. Its pulling 500mA but no display, no noise, nothing.
So I assume its a BIOS issue. I downloaded the BIOS with CH341A and opened it on ME Analyser and didn't receive any errors.
Does this mean the BIOS is fine? making it a hardware issue?
