When reading the W25Q80EW_1.8v it only dumps 1024mb file. I did use unprotect using ASprogrammer

W25Q80xx is not the bios chip.

According to your old bios yours is FH5VM so try FH5VM, but here is the FH5VF in case someone need it.

thank you, used both flashed roms however no dice. The FH5VF will not allow the unit to power on. The FH5VM bios provides fan spin and a backlit keyboard however it does not post.

Your problem is not a bios related in this case I'm afraid. Provided files are the newest virgin ones from the Acer support page for your model. Check the ram modules, voltages, power sequences etc. Open a new thread in the troubleshooting section.

Yes, these are exactly the same .fd files extracted from the latest bios I've used to do your file, but the .fd file must be edited to extract the bios image from it, so yes - as I said, not a bios related problem in your case unfortunately. Sorry

                                      Hi,

My daughter has accidentally managed to kill her Acer gaming desktop it has a blank screen after updating and when you press the power button the fans spin, light comes on and it makes 1 long and 1 short beep and no attempt to boot.

All basic troubleshooting has been done we replaced CPU, GPU and RAM from a working machine and no joy, I also noticed a post on here with the same issue and it was the BIOS. I am pretty sure also because it was doing a BIOS update that stopped it working, she knocked the keyboard out by accident during the update and the screen just went...

                                      Good day.

I would like to request a bios for the following laptop?

                                      Model: Acer P214-52-58CH
                                      Model No: N19Q7
                                      S/N: NXVLHE0H11204BA27600
                                      SNID: 11201936276

Symptoms: Laptop powers on but no picture on screen.

I have already checked voltages and all is present. I have checked resistance on the coils to see if the chipset or cpu might be shorted. All resistances look normal. I have tried diffrent ram and I have reset the bios. I have also visually inspected the board to see if anything is burnt or if there are any traces of liquid...

Here is my original bin file, as well as how the BIOS chip looks like

My situation is if I press my laptop power on, fan turns on for the first five seconds and turns off, no display (not even acer), but power indicator is on, and the CPU gets warm, even caught one time if powered on for long (before an hour) the fan turns on again, is it only right that I'm approaching via BIOS?

Before I got into this situation, I was just watching movies, and while turned on, pressed the battery reset button and cleaned...
