I received a repair for a 430G7 machine, the condition did not improve anything, when downloading the bios of Hoaca388 #36, the machine showed up but it took 1 minute to boot into Windows. I loaded the EC bios and it booted up immediately after 5 seconds but got an endpoint error. I have attached the EC bios, I hope you can help me fix it

The file I sent to you to fix is the device's original bios (I downloaded another EC bios and loaded it with an endpoint error).

I downloaded your item 36 and uploaded it, I don't have the MaIn bios because the IC is broken,

I only have the bios EC sent you to fix

you need an SPI programmer..here is a video as an example...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWigscuQDY

Hi, I have a hp probook 430 g7 and the bios has an admin password.

Can this be unlocked / wiped without taking the machine apart and de-soldering the bios chip?

Happy to provide my pc model number, motherboard details etc

                                      regards

                                      Kyri

Bricked HP Probook 450 G7 Bios questions
                                          by studdy05
Hp Probook 450 G7 s# SCD0348W35 had a locked BIOS. Bought BIOS and EC chips off Ebay that were supposed to match this machine - the 450 G7. Flashed in the BIOS on chip i bought using a CH341. BIOS unlocked next boot. Some error to contact HP. Entered BIOS and reset to system defaults and rebooted. Machine worked fine but every cold boot the contact HP message popped and everything else worked as fine. Assumed the error was from EC chip not matching BIOS that i just flashed in. So i flashed in the EC that was supposed to match from the EBay chip i bought and instant brick.

                                          Ive got...

                                          Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                                          🧩 Initial Issue
                                          • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                                          • External display (HDMI) shows
                                          ...

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo UX8402ZA BIOS

                                          Hello everyone,

I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.

When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...

I'm requesting a bios .bin for 2 of my hp Probook 450 G3's. Both of which I had forgotten the bios passwords. I stupidly flashed both of them with firmware "made" by the RCUnlocker software and I guess I shouldn't have. The last thing I did was flash both of them with RCUnlocker-fw thinking it would 100% work and left my programmer etc behind and won't have access to them for another 2 days so I figured I'd create a thread to see if I'd be so lucky that someone might have a working file laying around 😝
