Re: HP x360 14m-ba013dx bios bin
Go to the HP support site and enter the serial number on the case to search for driver and bios updates.Download the bios update executable - https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp133...0/sp133137.exe .Run sp133137.exe ,you`ll see a quick message about extracting an "insyde" bios. If you get a warning message about installing an insyde driver you can choose not to install it,it will pop up about 3 times. After the final warning a screen pops up with 3 options.Update,Make a recovery USB or copy. Choose the copy option and select a folder to save to. The bios is extracted to the folder you chose, there are 2 different ones,as the updater supports more than one machine.Open your bios backup with a Hex Editor and use the text search function to look for 083 ,you will see bios you need is 0830F .Next look for the laptop model number, the DMI (serial number, feature byte, win key) is all in one block.Open the 0830F virgin bios and scroll down to 220000 you will see that area starts with 00`s (not FF`s) ,go back to your backup and select the offsets in the picture, copy and paste insert into the virgin bios using the same offsets and save.

Re: HP x360 14m-ba013dx bios bin
Thanks a lot SMDFlea for teaching me how to fish.lol I did exactly as you mentioned and was able to use the Bios from HP Website and also add in my offsets and stuff..The bios is 100% working.Only thing it seems like i had another issue.I will only get it to boot up to bios if i apply some heat around the BIOS and KBC area. under the bios on other side of board is the memory controller. So i'll post in other section My issue. But hoaca388 thx for the clean Me Region clean.I assume it will be working as well.Comment

This motherboard has 2 similar chips. One is on the front marked with BIOS SKT "Winbond 25Q256JVEN" and one on the back marked with U351 "Gigadevice 25B256EYIG". I ignored the one on the back and only desoldered front chip. Made a backup, made sure the reading was the same with another 3 backups.
I needed to remove bios password...-

by macabookHello everyone,
I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
🧩 Initial Issue- Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
- External display (HDMI) shows

by cr4zychrissHello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details- Barebone / Chassis: TongFang GK7MRFR

by piratiHello everyone,
I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.
When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.
I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...-
