by dfearI have a "HP Pavilion x360 - 14-ba104na" in for repair. The caps lock flash 3 long and 5 short.
HP says this error means:
The red light blinks three times, and then five, short white light blinks (3 long red, 5 short white)
This condition indicates that the computer does not detect the processor (CPU).
Does this mean the CPU is dead or is there another cause for this fault? -
by 08caine15Hi everyone , I need your help with this board and it's giving me a hard time . 3 long and 2 shorts base on HP site it's a MEMORY ERROR , tried replacing RAM it's still the same. RAM VOLTAGE has 1.2V i think it has a complete voltage a 3.3v and there's also ah 2v , tried checking pins if there any damage or unsoldered and everythings good , now I don't what should I do next. Also tried reflashing and programming the bios and still the same, hopefully there's someone who can help me with this since im having like 4 laptop with the same error.

Hello everyone,
I'm dealing with a classic BIOS corruption issue on an HP Pavilion 15-n058sr and hoping someone here might have the original BIOS file or point me in the right direction.
Symptoms:- Laptop powers on but no display at all (completely black screen)
- Caps Lock blinks twice with a pause, then repeats continuously
- F12 LED stays on permanently
- No POST, no boot sequence, nothing on screen
Based on HP diagnostic codes, the 2-blink Caps Lock pattern indicates BIOS corruption/failure.
What I've tried:- Hardware reset (battery removal, power

by momakaI know I've been a little scarce lately (like the last 2-3 years), but I'm still here and still doing my thing with fixing PSUs.
For today's considerations, I have a Seasonic B12 BC-550 [A551bcafh] 550 Watt ATX power supply for you (click on links for full size images).

It's a modern ATX unit with fixed (non-modular) cables and an 80-plus bronze certificate. Here's the label:
