Now youve posted the backup i can see its a T490s
The password is stored in the MEC chip,it can only be removed via JTAG using a special programmer, such as Vertyanov JIG (recommend ths one) ,SVOD 3 or 4 ,RT809H

After tiny wires solder mask and upside down laptop I managed to get a read..Have read thrice and verified.

Thats the one.Its a WSON8 you`ll need an adapter,if you havn`t already got one,or you can solder wires to the pins.

yes I saw this will be tricky to remove.

Is this the right chip?

No,thats a mosfet. See here https://www.allservice.ro/forum/images/T490s_bios.jpg ,post the part number on top of the chip thats arrowed

Find it ,make a few backups and compare them make sure theyre the same. Post one of the backups here so we can check if its good or not. Don`t try flashing another bios until then.
At post #1 you said you wanted your bios cleaning, did you mean the ME firmware or a password

Hi,im using CH341a chip soldered directly onto programmer

Use NeoProgrammer,Colibri or ASProgrammer software ,you`ll find them all on the forum if you search.
