        Re: Lenovo V17-IIL corrupted BIOS

        Hello dear BadCaps Forum,
Im a completely newbie here (first time doing it) and i have a problem with my Lenovo Laptop.

The problem is that its flashing White Light Power Led and if completely charged it stays on without ofcourse turning on.
        Fan etc work fine.

I have attached my bios chip dump. The chip is a Winbond 25Q128JVSQ. I have dumped the firmwmare with a CH341a Programmer using NeoProgrammer.

Can one of you give me a good data file i can flash to my chip please?

        My Laptop Specifications are:
        Lenovo V17-IIL 82GX006CGM
        MotherBoard GS454/GS554/GV450/HS750

Hello, first of all i would like to thank both of you for your time and help. Unfortunatelly the laptop still does not want to post/boot. After flashing anything the only difference with before is that the fan stopped spinning. (it used to spin when trying to turn on and boot).

I need to flash the bios inside the MX25L12835F SOP8, i have already desolder the chip and solder it into my SOP8 adapter and read it with a ROM programmer.
I use the innoextract 1.9 software to extract the bios file from the .exe file that i download from lenovo website, can you help me edit the Hex file (removing the Index part and resize the file)?

                                Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

                                Hello there.

I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

                                History:

                                1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

I searched for this error online and discovered...

So a couple of years ago i got a bios update through Lenovo Vantage, so i installed it and bricked my whole BIOS, so i couldn't fix it so i put that ideapad in a box, 3 years later i found that one PC and want to recover it to switch from a 2014 hp laptop to this one.

I found a method to recover the BIOS of many lenovo laptops tha consists in pluging in a USB Flash with the BIOS files and power on the laptop with Fn + R keys pressed until fans go loud and start beeping loud, but nothing worked, so i think filename is wrong, i tried naming the bios file as 07WW.BIN, BIOS.BIN, BIOS.fd,...
