i have onboard ram problem i tried post 71 bios it works, display comes after 1 minute still i was using it but windows is updating bios automatically and display goes blank.

please someone guide me what to do.

Hi Everybody,

I had to replace my mainboard from my Lenovo Ideapad 3 with a new one. Everything is connected properly, but unfortunately I have a black screen when starting up. Fans are running and LEDs are on. The screen gets power (i see a very hard to notice change of the color (probably LED backlight turning on) when pressing the ON button.
It feels like there's no BIOS installed or corrupted.

Pressing F2, FN+F2, ESC, F10, etc does not work to go into BIOS. I may need a proper BIOS file to install a new one.

the posted bios is corrupt ... weird, you install windows and the bios is corrupted !!

you have everything you need at post#32.. if the laptop is the ideapad 3 15iil05 model... not ideapad 3 15iil5... I think you are wrong..

use the HxD program (you can find it for free)..enter both bios into it and copy that interval where the DMI information is found from the original bios, to the virgin bios on the website...(copy-paste).. .that's it all..

Hi I have Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15IIL05 model name: 81WE, MTM:81WE0048PB SN:PF2KM7TV - got a black screen with either blinking power or solid light up - sometimes fun was working for a bit. I have read orginal bios and reloaded with the one from post #27 but seems the same apart fan doesn't work now at all. Can someone check my original bios file if is not corrupted, please? Many thanks in advance.
