I had 3 with Nordic layout and only in that way it worked, using right Shift for uppercase.

Thanks for your help hoaca388, using Capslock for the upper case letters worked a treat.

I used the password for the 6FF1 suffix and it worked the first time.

Have a great afternoon (or whatever time of day it is in your timezone)

I don't have a US keyboard to try to enter it with that, is there anything else I can do to try and get rid of the pesky admin pasword?

    Thanks in advance

    • Count how many stars/asterisks are printed on the screen when you do the CTRL-ENTER-ENTER, there must be 16.
    • Upload a picture of the password screen. The master password works best at the System Password prompt “This computer system: #1NF80X2-E7A8, is protected by a password authentication system…”.
Hi, started to collect information but fully unexpected the generated password was accepted. It worked !!!
The point is, I was on a business trip and used laptop keyboard. At home I used external USB keyboard. It could be a reason why the password was not accepted. Now is everything fine.
    Thank !

    Hello,
I have 1NF80X2-E7A8. Tried mentioned password generator. Received two passwords, held Ctrl and pressed Enter twice. Without success by both. User qwerty and qwertz. Used O instead of 0. Nothing helps.
Any idea how to remove bios password ?
    Thanks in advance.

Dell Latitude 5400 Chromebook UEFI bios
    by jhanra
Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…...

    Dell Latitude 5430 Bios Password
    by anlsmith
I am trying to remove the BIOS password for a Dell Latitude 5430 motherboard LA-L591P. So far I think that I have located the BIOS chip but NeoProgrammer says that is detects 3 chips. I have attached the dump from each one. Are any of these the BIOS file? Service Tag: 1DMC1T3. If nyone knows the exact location of the bios chip as well I would greatly appreciate it...

Dell Latitude E7270 - Requesting BIOS clean/corrupt? service tag CB00KC2

    Hi

i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
    - takes long time to restart.
    - sometimes powers on and then off
    - sometimes while working it just dies,

From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?

i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)

As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.
    I reinstall...
