    Heloo
My bios is a different version - could I ask for a new bios from the asus website or 100% ok dump for the version X512JAA version (not X512JF)
    My original file is attached
    Thanks

Is X512JAA what you have written on the side of the square white QR code

there is no X512JAA or X512JF version on the Asus website for this laptop... there is only x512JA, and x512JAU... according to the posted bios you need the X512JA version... post clear pictures with the stickers in the ram memory area, or a square of white color with a QR code...

aww.. I didn't refresh the page..

The laptop is the X512JA model, I checked the Asus website and for him the bios is the X512JAAS.301 version
I'm sending a QR photo .. it's very hard to take a picture clearly

Yes, it worked, i tried to read guides but the only one i find was the one with te decryption key. i couldn't found any other guide to do it myself otherwise i would never asked for help.

i hate asking others to do it for me.

it's written very clear in bios guide made by piernov:
"A lot of Asus machines use a standard AMI implementation, and BIOS password can be decoded or cleared from AMITSESetup NVRAM variable."
Compare original bios dump against modified one and you'll figure out ...

wait... what... seriously only needed to erase the password, literally erased the password with no protection at all???

i had other bios patched with waaay many encryptions and the only thing this bios needed it was just erasing that sector
thats crazy, im surprised, I was expecting something way harder like decode the password not just erase it

sorry for my ignorance but that was ridiculously easy.
again, thank you very much for your help and your time

There's another thread requesting this BIOS, but it turns out it wasn't for the same model.
My laptop died during a BIOS upgrade (via Windows), now it wont turn on.
                                      I know it's a 1.8v chip.
I tried downloading the bios from Asus (currently version 310) and flashed it to no avail.
I appreciate any help with a good BIOS ROM, preferrable in BIN format (not Asus CAP).
Attached you'll find picture of the motherboard.
                                      Thanks in advance

                                          Hi.
                                          Unfortunately, I don't have a backup.
wasn't careful enough to save it before I flashed it with Asus' file.
As for the Serial number, the sticker is unreadable and, since I can't turn on the laptop, I have no way to know it,
Anyway, attached you'll find a backup read that I made today and the photo of the back of my laptop (as you can see, there's no serial number).
                                          Hope you can help.
                                          Thanks

ASUS ZenBook UX480F : need help with cleaning the ME region of my BIOS dump
                                            by mkdj
                                            Dear all,
I have a ASUS ZenBook UX480F with the following symptoms:

I suspect it is a BIOS issue. So I decided to try to clean the ME region. I followed the guide on win-raid, and I believe I have done everything correctly. My problem is: when I open the outimage.bin in ME Analyzer, it says that it is Extracted, and not Region, Extracted as it should be. Is it normal, or did I do something not correctly? This is my first experience editing BIOS files.

I would appreciate if someone could take time to explain the issue, so that I can learn. But I would...

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
                                            by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                                            Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

                                            Troubleshooting Attempts:
                                            ...

                                            Hi all,

My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
(I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)

Hi all! Tldr: need a bios dump (.bin format) for K6604J (rtx 4070 and i9-13980hx)

Longer story: my vivobook stopped booting after i switched out the thermal paste. I think the BIOS got corrupted. Everything i tried didn’t work until finally i decided to buy a CH341A BIOS programmer and just send over the BIOS directly from another PC onto the BIOS chip. I connected fine and backed up the existing BIOS, but i can’t find a clean BIOS that’s a .bin format. And I tried using UEFI software to extract all the files from the ASUS BIOS .exe file and get to the .bin but it was a .302...
