You said in your previous post "my program tool doesn't support this ic" , so how are you going to write a different bios ? .What programmer do you have,and the software version, also what part number is on the chip ?

Choose winbond 25Q32 instead and untick check-id if thats an option.Then try to make a backup .

Choose winbond 25Q32 instead and untick check-id if thats an option.Then try to make a backup .

Do you mean to read the XMC chip. Try NeoProgrammer software ,it supports quite a few XMC chips.
