Re: Panasonic Toughbook CF-C2 please remove bios password!
also with errors. i advise you to read bios chipset many times until you obtain 2 identical files. I don't think your laptop will start with soooo many checksum errorsAttached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Re: Panasonic Toughbook CF-C2 please remove bios password!
still has errors, if I were you i'd use another bios chipset with unlocked file, it is a huge possibility that if you erase bios chipset and dump is not ok the laptop will be bricked. Anyway, I erased password but still have doubts your bios dump is ok.Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

hoaca388,
Thank you for trying to help. I must have done something wrong though when I removed the bios or when I reinstalled it. The only thing that happens now is the power light blinks green about every couple of seconds when the power is turned on and if the battery is inserted it shows that it is charging. According to the manual this is "sleep" mode. No matter what I do though it wont boot anymore.
Does this with the original bios and the modded one.

Could somebody help me with this.
Removed all power, unplugged bios battery,
let it sit overnight.
still have the password.
Unsure if i can use the files others have posted.
I'm guessing that could brick the unit.
So here is the info from the unit I'm working on.
I'm hoping i have followed all the guidelines.
Do I need to purchase a spi programmer and
Create a bin file of my current bios or is there
another way ?

Thank you in advance,

This is really cool. Years ago like years and years i used to find help for motherboard reapir for those impossible to find in circuit component failures.
when the Piii socket 370s were new tech lol
Thank you again. Really coolAttached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Does this programmer look like a model that will allow me to make a bios dump to bin ?
Also i have an identical unit that is not password locked.
would i be able to take the firmware from that one
change the serial and dump it back to the locked one ?
or no.
I do appreciate the help.
I will be donating shortly.
Am I able to just make a donation or is it
required to subscribe for help ?

I removed the BIOS password thanks to the help of one of the friends of this forum.
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...61#post3637661
The batch from which the password was removed works correctly but... after some time, the BIOS password is set again, I reprogrammed the batch with the removed password, it's ok, there is no password, I set my password, ok, I can enter the BIOS with my password but...-
