Hello, I am hoping you can help me. I have an E590 and I am trying to remove the bios password... I have read the bios and I used the autopatcher but the system does not boot, the caps lock and power LED illuminate, it plays a tune but nothing else. I restored the original file and it boots again. I've tried quite a few times with no success. Could somebody take a look for me? Thank you.

Thank you for this, unfortunately the laptop is now a no boot? If I press the power button I get an amber light which stays illuminate until I let the power button go. That's all. What could this be?

Never mind, it turned out that the previous owner installed the incorrect CPU which the laptop didn't support. After reinstalling a Pentium the ME region registers and the computer works as expected.Leave a comment:
