I have a HP 15-BS136NL.
After a BIOS update with official BIOS (F.75 Rev.A) the notebook power on but remains on black screen.
I downloaded and extracted that BIOS and I have the same files you listed, how can I check what is the right for my model?

Motherboard
DKL50 LA-E802P 1.0
BIOS
WINBOND 25Q64JVSIQ 1748
I have not the backup of the original bios... These are the steps that I followed:
1. After installed Windows 11, I made all windows updates, event the optionals and there was a firwmare update, after the update windows started fine but in Devices Manager there was an exclamation mark in Firmware, so I downladed the official exe from HP website and installed it.
2. The BIOS update seemed to end fine, but then the laptop didn't started anymore, it power on but black screen
3. I bought THIS CH341A programmer.
4. I downloaded from this forum a BIOS "08328.rar" (and I don't remember from which post... π )
5. I followed instructions from some YouTube video and after clean and write the bios, the laptop started succesfully but there was an alert each boot like this "Manufacture Programming Mode in Unlock mode"
6. I didn't know what this alert means, but I thought (even if reading this step, you could doubt that I think in a sane way... π): "Ok, now retry the official BIOS update!". Useless to say: the BIOS update ends succesfully, but again, the laptop poweron but is stuck on black screen.
7. I retry from step 5, clean and write the bios, but now the laptop power on, caps lock blink 5 times slowly and 3 times fast and nothing else happen. I tried from step
8. I thought it's better to do a deeper search in the forum for the right BIOS or ask for help and punish my self for not minding my own business when the laptop booted succesfully after first bios flash... πComment

to understand that you did not make a copy of the original bios ..write once more the bios with which the laptop worked, you have it at post #2 in this thread, and after the image appears try this...to delete"Manufacture Programming Mode in Unlock mode"

I'm trying but one question: when I open the BIN file this is what I see and what I think it should be written ?
After writing , even if it success, the result when I read IC is this:
Is this normal or this mean that the programmer doens't write everything it should?Comment

by jbonavitaHi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried
1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...-

by zeniusHello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...-

by WahazHello,
I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....-

My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.
- I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
- I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
- I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this

by macabookHello everyone,
Iβm currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, Iβm at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Hereβs a full breakdown:
𧩠Initial Issue- Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
- External display (HDMI) shows
