Re: hp 450 g7 password
Your bios does not have an absolute activation, your bios does not have a password if they are the original bios I do not understand why you want to change the bios information, regarding the blue screen do a clean installation of windows if it persists do a bios update or a recovery mode to repair the bios in case you have a problem if the problem persists clean the me region of the WINDBOND biosLeave a comment:

Re: hp 450 g7 password
Greetings, colleague from the soldering iron
you have to reprogram the two bios, the gigadevice unlocked that I published and the original winbon, it has to be like this to avoid errors since they are matched in information, please program the two chips before the first ignition, remember that the first ignition takes several minutes, (observation) if the power is completely removed, the equipment will take minutes to turn on again
comment if it worked for youLeave a comment:

Re: hp 450 g7 password
here the bios file without absolute, delete all the information from the ssd or hdd before, deactivate the bios security options when entering the bios for the first time and save changes after you have a clean installation of the operating system and that's it you can update without problemLeave a comment:

Re: hp 450 g7 password
Okay, at the risk of throwing this thread completely off topic, here's what I've found about the Absolute software:
I reset the security settings in BIOS and wiped the drive with EaseUS Partition Master, as suggested. I then reinstalled Windows 10 with no internet connection. On first start, Absolute software was installed in the Windows folder, I assume by the BIOS. The files were "rpcnetp.exe", "rpcnetp.dll", and "wpbbin.exe", located in the System32 and SysWOW64 folders. "Rpcnetp" also ran as a system service. I stopped the service, and deleted the rpcnetp files (before I found that wpbbin was also an Absolute file), but those files reappeared after a reboot. I then created dummy files (0kb txt files renamed as .exe and .dll) and placed them in the proper locations, after killing the service/running process, and setting the dummy files to read-only. The software did not reactivate after reboot. I then ran Windows Update, and all updates installed without creating the Absolute Software or CTES folders that were installed on first Windows try. It's been running for several hours now without installing the Absolute software or entering "Device Freeze" mode. I haven't tried Windows update without creating the dummy files to disable rpcnetp/wpbbin, so I don't know for sure yet if resetting the Security Defaults in BIOS would have really set Absolute to not install by default, but I will test that in the near future, now that I know how to disable it. I can only assume the software uses the UUID or serial number to check the status, regardless of the persistence module state. I can say that the Device Freeze and Absolute installation does not change the module's inactive state or re-enable it, as the BIOS setting remained permanently disabled even after previous Windows install and Device Freeze. Thanks again for your amazing help with this, and hopefully this info may help anyone dealing with this in the future.Leave a comment:

Hey guys,
have a laptop here that has a supervisor Password (dump in Attachements).
Before i write the Serial NR.etc i wanted to say that strangely after flashing with 3 different Bios dumps and one from lenovos site
the laptop works but everytime it wants me to type a supervisor password i never set.
I thought the supervisor password is stuck in the ec bios but no it isn't either because after replacing the ec chip from one of another board it still has the supervisor password.
Anyway i wanted to ask what of the two chips is the ec bios because on the left...-

by mferna14Hi friends., I am working on MacBook Pro A2159 touchbar 2019. The old logic board was liquid spilled so I ordered another logic board from AE. Received it & all worked fine till I got to the Chinese login screen where the login screen password tobe entered. I tried to reset the password but it again gave me options which I do not know about the Apple ID. I formatted the onboard SSD. & wanted to change the startup boot sequence but in order to change it, again the password is needed for that too. Is there a way to get rid of this password?? The seller has not replied back past 2 days, how...05-13-2025, 04:16 PM

by Badpatch02Hi all, I'm new here, a few words about myself: CS student, interested in hardware stuff too - tinkering my whole life but with practically no experience when it comes to firmware "hacking".
So I have this X380 Yoga with a supervisor password in place and before doing anything stupid I figured I'd rather ask.
I plan on using the tool from this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...password-remov...-

by Johnny hHello,
I'm hoping someone can assist me.
I have an Asus Vivobook 16x Pro OLED laptop which has a BIOS password, and I can't seem to find it.
It still boots into Windows (boots from whatever SSD is installed but not from USB).
The model number is M7600R and serial number is N8N0CX03H71131C.
I tried AMITSESetup Decryptor but the password I got doesn't make sense (it's got a line break and special characters).
I also tried to use *************** MOD EDIT ,redacted************** and it also gave me the funny password of

by coolshrimpHere is all the info you should need to remove bios password from your same model or one with an MEC-Chip and also write back the config data
T14s - MEC-1663 - Jtag - Pinout - Bios Password Removal
See Diagram for Wiring.
Use MEC-1633#ISP on your RT809h
This is same Jtag pinout and method for T490S/X390
(But your R/W 10K Resistor Location May In a Different Location)
MEC-Chips Store Bios Password In a Secure Un-Editable Area
Following steps clear that secure area to re-initialize itself to default (Blank)
