I made a big mistake, I confused the Bios chip with that of the eeprom. Here is the correct file. I'm sorry, I'm learning... Thank you for your help and understanding.Comment

Hi all just wondering if anyone can help?
i have just recovered my bios after i screwed it up after trying to take a dump of my bios with a clip and a programmer to get around the bios password on one of my old work laptops (HP Elitebook 850 G1).
since the recovery i have been left with the PC now booting up but now i get the warning the machine is not in a commited state and the laptop swithes itself of after about 30 minutes, which i believe is to do with a missing intel management engine.
if anyone can shed any light on wither of these problems,... -
Hello to all of you! I need help with a BIOS file.
The BIOS chip is fried on my Asus F542UN laptop, and I bought a new chip that needs programming. I have a CH341a programmer but I need a .bin BIOS file. On Asus support page the firmware has another extension, .310 and from reading on this forum I understand that that file is not complete BIOS.
So, in short I need the "complete" BIOS .bin file to flash on the new chip. Another issue is that on back of the case the label says F542UN but on the sticker on the motherboard it's X542UN. -

To put you in context I recently replaced the battery from my HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns with a used one, everything was going good. The same day, I decided to update the BIOS, everything went good. The thing occurred after I let the battery drain iddling on Windows 11 for the second time to calibrate it that the screen did not turn on again, the computer was on but the screen did not turn, like it would not wake from hibernation. I decided to restart the computer but got no video.
The thing is that I had installed TeamViewer and could log into the computer... -
I'm trying to extract a flashable bios file(ch341a) from the lenovo bios executable download. I have tried the instructions from this site https://starkeblog.com/lenovo/uefi/2...pdate-exe.html, which are not working. According to those instructions, after issuing the commandit should create an \app folder, inside which, I should find a newly created "7wcn38ww.exe" file. I should then be able to extract that using 7zip and find my .FD file.Code:

I need a BIOS file for a AORUS 15P XC please. It has i7-10870H and RTX 3070. Motherboard is ga-rx5lxc rev2.0. The Bios chip is a Winbond W25R256JVEQ. This chip has a 32MB capacity however the official bios from there website only has a 16MB bios which cant be right. It currently has a black screen issue and doesn't display to external display. If anyone has a bios file for this laptop it would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!...
