Lenovo X250 bios dump repair
Hello,
I am new in this,so please bear with me.
I was testing CH341A programer and i made a dump of Lenovo X250 bios.
I made 2 dumps and compared them,to see if they are the same.
Then i tryed to write it back. There was an error after it errased bios.
Tryed a few softwares, and it looks like i selected a wrong chip when i made the first dump.
The size of the dump is 32 mb instead of 16mb (i probably selected W25q256fv instead of w25q128fv.
Is there a way to get a viable bios from that 32mb dump?
Any help solving this appreciated

Need bios bin file for Lenovo Thinkpad x250
I had a thinkpad x250 laptop but one day bios update was done and all went fine. But some days later i started experiencing problems. The laptop would boot but with 5 beeps which were double,continued using it as is until it finally died. Now it only beeps 5 double beeps and then shuts down immediately. I believe that bios update broke my laptop. I have a backup bin file which could help.Hope i will find a solution soon,thanks.Comment

Hi Peste i tried the bios dump that you sent but i have a problem.weeks later the laptop would not boot and would return to the same state. it stays in black screen and then shuts down.i would have to reflash the bios again to make it boot.hope you will reply soon,thanksComment

Problem
This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached.... -
I want to fix a Lenovo Legion 5 15ACH6 laptop, the laptop turns on but the screen is black, GPU and CPU are cold.
Bios changed a few times, unfortunately it didn't help but it should have. Please help.

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15ALC05 NM-D701. When I press the power button, the fan comes on, the power button flashes but the screen remains black. The device has a current consumption of 0.7A. I only have a BoardWiever for the device and no schematic. I have already tried to rewrite the BIOS, but the behavior is the same.

I have a question about a Lenovo board (HS45Q - HS45S (NM-D891) - later I will update this with the exact Lenovo model number.
I'm not experienced at all, but I managed to get this laptop from someone that needed to get rid of it. He had a water bottle in his bag which started leaking.
The initial problem was that it didn't show anything on the display, but it did show stuff when I connected an external display.
