I have a question about a Lenovo board (HS45Q - HS45S (NM-D891) - later I will update this with the exact Lenovo model number.
I'm not experienced at all, but I managed to get this laptop from someone that needed to get rid of it. He had a water bottle in his bag which started leaking.
The initial problem was that it didn't show anything on the display, but it did show stuff when I connected an external display.
I saw water damage around the lcd connector. After cleaning and checking all wires and lines, somehow during testing I managed to blow up IT8227....
