Thanks, Peste. I tried it on an Acer E5-521G motherboard. I only got an image from the HDMI port, and it said "Boot drive not found." Then I went into the BIOS, opened the boot options, and it detected the HDD. It booted, then I plugged in the display connector, restarted it twice, and the screen displayed an image. I need help with my Acer Aspire 5920G laptop. Its original GeForce 8600M GT graphics card failed, so I replaced it with an Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT MXM card.
**Problem:** The laptop powers on, but there is no display (black screen) on either the internal LCD or external monitor. This indicates a BIOS compatibility issue with the new graphics card.

I am experiencing the following issue with my laptop. I have an Acer Aspire A717-71G with a motherboard model C5MMH/C7MMH LA-E911P Rev. 1A. Unfortunately, the original board stopped working, so I purchased a replacement. The new board is the same model but a different revision (Rev. 1B). From what I understand, this should not cause compatibility problems.
However, the replacement board came with a BIOS version intended for the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-51, which causes the keyboard to function incorrectly. I attempted to reflash the BIOS chip using a CH341A programmer... -

My situation is if I press my laptop power on, fan turns on for the first five seconds and turns off, no display (not even acer), but power indicator is on, and the CPU gets warm, even caught one time if powered on for long (before an hour) the fan turns on again, is it only right that I'm approaching via BIOS?
