    Dear all,
I have a Lenovo Yoga X380 (20LJ-S04X03) and I sucessfully read & patched the firmware, however when trying to reapply the patched firmware via CH341a I fail at 0x0080064 because tool wants to write 0xFF to this adress and on chip is stored 0xAA. (this adress seems to be the first one where the patch did moditfications to the firmware)

The BIOS uses a Winbond W25Q128JV with status registers set to 0x00, 0x02 and 0x60. (see pic below)
According to datasheet the write protect should not be active with this bits set.

I am using to the in-circuit clamp method to read/write.
My tool is latest version of "NeoProgrammer" with write&verify enabled for the write process.

Could it be that there is some other write protection? Do you know how to disable this?

    Many thanks!

    Br, GeForce66

Update: After some more reading on NOR Flash I figured it out.
Turns out it is mandatory to erase the chip first.
After that it worked flawlessly, even the patched BIOS.

Big shoutout to Knucklegrumble for this awesome easy setup.

The "LENOVO BIOS AUTO-PATCHER for Supervisor Password Removal" tool is designed to address the challenge of removing Supervisor Passwords on Lenovo BIOS. Users can benefit from its automated approach, streamlining the process and enhancing accessibility for individuals facing password-related issues on their Lenovo devices.

Hi, I am sorry to bother you guys, but for some reason autopatcher doesn't work for me. I am getting "Nie mo" text and patched file isn't created. For autopatcher I am using win11 and python 3.12.1 for amd64.

          I have a Lenovo p51s 20HC-202K00, S/N:R9-0NZ3CL

I am unable to patch using the autopatcher 0.2. It is stuck at [1/2] BootOption. Will someone be kind enough to figure out what I did wrong and patch this for me please.

                                  A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
                                  by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
