    EC Dump request HP ZBOOK 15 G6

    Wow am i in a bit of mess here

    Long story short, reflashed the bios but EC chip seems to have totally died, won't detect! i think the clip slipped and there was a puff of smoke

    Managed to get a donor EC dump from a business laptop, it works but then bios setup is now passworded when it wasn't before.

    Now i'm stuck

    Anyone have a clean EC Dump please? or maybe another way to solve?

    p.s this is the Zbook Mobile Workstation G6 15 not G6 15u.

      Whats the part number on the EC chip, and can you post your bios + EC backups

          EC chip is a Winbond 25Q128JVSQ

                  the password is in the 16MB chip...use RCUnlocker and unlock it yourself

                                  This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.

                                  I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

                                  Request: Looking for a BIOS dump for HP Pavilion 500-560nf (SKU L1V04EA), motherboard Pegatron Memphis-S / SSID 2B2C.
                                  My board enters jumper recovery mode but no BIOS files are available from HP anymore.
                                  I need the full 8 MB BIOS dump (.bin) (with .sig/.s12 if possible), or at least a clean dump I can flash with CH341A.

                                  Already checked HP support & Win-Raid packages (they only contain Intel ME firmware, not the BIOS).

                                  My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
                                  The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
                                  When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
                                  (I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)

                                  Hi everyone,

                                  I’m looking for a 2 MB BIOS dump for a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 16ARH7H / Legion 5 with mainboard NM-E471 Rev. 2.0.

                                  The BIOS chip is a Winbond W25Q16FW (1.8V, 2MB) and it's completely unresponsive / bricked. I tried recovery via USB but no success. Now I want to reflash it externally using a CH341A programmer.

                                  I already found 32MB dumps (e.g. from Vinafix and Badcaps), but they are too large for the chip – and the last 2MB in those files are just FF FF FF....

                                  Hello everyone,

                                  I’m looking for a full raw 16 MB BIOS dump for an ASRock Z790-CX (DDR5) motherboard.

                                  The board powers on (fans spin, RGB lights on, RAM LEDs active), but there is no display output and the VGA and BOOT LEDs stay lit.
                                  I’m using an Intel i9-14900KF CPU (14th gen), and it seems the BIOS version on my board doesn’t support it yet. I tried to flash the official ASRock BIOS file (renamed .ROM → .BIN) directly using my RT809H programmer, but it didn’t work — monitor stays on but with black screen, so I believe the ASRock update file is not a complete...
