    Panasonic CF-31 BIOS Dump

    Hello,

Can someone help me with a BIOS dump made with a programmer for a CF-31 Mk5? My BIOS version is customized and it seems it is missing some menus, startup logo and messages. Since it is a custom BIOS the Panasonic BIOS update program doesn't want to update it either.

    Thanks and Best regards!

      Re: Panasonic CF-31 BIOS Dump

To explain a little bit what is happening and what things I noticed in this custom BIOS:
      1) No BIOS Logo or Text "Press F2 for..."
      2) No Password setup in the Security Menu.
      3) BIOS had User and Admin Password. The attached one has them removed. it works fine.
      4) When you select Load Defaults it's adding back the BIOS password. I needed to reflash again so I can go back to BIOS
      5) Version number is V5.00L10 Mxx. If it has an M in the version is custom and the BIOS update tool will not update it.

Maybe removing the Mxx string from BIOS version can trick the BIOS update tool to continue the upgrade.

I attached my BIOS and the BIOS AMI Capsule from the update package.

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
          by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

          Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

          Troubleshooting Attempts:

Dell 9010 MT BIOS Update Always Fails
          by mikeybass
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

Fixed: Lenovo P14s Gen 1 (type 20Y1, 20Y2) Laptop (ThinkPad) bricked by a withdrawn BIOS update (r1buj82w)
          by akwky
          Hi!
Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).

Incidentally, Windows 11 have recently started auto-flashing computer BIOS in our region. Even more suspiciously, Lenovo has released a BIOS update just few days before the PC was trashed. About a week later, the BIOS update image has been oficially marked...

MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 - real bios dump from board needed (no stock bios)
          by DynaxSC
Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).

I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...

Update bios EFCN58WW to EFCN59WW for solving The Connected AC adapter has a lower wattage than the recommended AC adapter

          I have a Lenovo Legion 5 15imh05a device that I bought used online. It came with a 20V 8.5A 170W charger.

          The BIOS version is EFCN58WW.

When I turn on the device, it displays the message:
"The Connected AC adapter has a lower wattage than the recommended AC adapter..."

The device rarely charges the battery, and even when it does, it doesn't show that it's charging.

          I've tried
