HI!
On my elitebook 8460p, the Product name, Product serial number, Product SKU and system board serial number are missing without any reason. I've tryed many nbdmifit tool version from without any luck. When i run the correct dmitool, i enter correct values from the laptop but the it gives me an error and rebooting the system gives "machine in not in commited state"
Also tried BCU, without any error, but the bios remain in the same state
After a bit of research, I managed to understand that to make this changes, I need to set the pc in commited state and unlock the MPM but I can't find the right SMC (tried many that comes with the dmi tools)
Other researches brought me here, where I've learnt that by dumping the bios in a bin file, it can be modified and re flashed in some ways.
I expect someone to request my dumped bios, but I only managed to dump a Rom file of my bios via a universal dumper tool found on this forum. If you could guide me in this process of dumping the bios, so I can give it to you and then flash it back, I would gladly follow your instructions
Thanks in advice
