Lenovo E580 bricked after flashing bios ?

    Hello,
I have a supervisor locked E580 and i tried to flash it with this bios

    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=80837

(after making a backup of the original)

The laptop didn't start, the power button light on as well as numlock + caps lock for a second and then it powered off.

I then flashed back the original, and i see the same behavior...
If i connect to power the power adapter, the power button flashes 3 times

    Is it bricked?

I tried disconnecting the cmos battery without success

Turns out i need to erase the chip first and then it boots. Anybody has patched bios ? I was searching how to do it but i have multiple BootOption. I don't know witch one to patch.

Thanks, after flashing this bios and pressing F1, it asks for a password.
I tried 1234 but it doesn't work. Any clues?

            Hello,
The password is in the SMSC MEC1633L, dxe driver is required for this one.

Yes this is the bios i requested/tried to make by patching my own BootOptions and LenovoTranslateService. I guess the fbd i found are for other generation of laptops

                pete,
After several wrong attempts it never says Challenge Code to enter on this website.

No solution for me for now.
                  Another patch method
I'm going to try to make one for you but it won't work I think.

I tried another flasher (flashrom on ubuntu) and the laptop has the error code 0285 (0285: TCG-compliant functionality-related error (might be
                      the TPM initialization failure))

The same error happens if i try to patch my own bios

unsolder the chip and reprogram it with the programmer, under flashrom or other utilities it does not work
