I have a Vostro 3400 that turns on with spinning fans but no display then shuts off after 4 seconds so not sure if it's a corrupt bios so want to try a fresh bios before I dive deeper into a board issue. Attached is my dump from the 2 bioses.

                  Board model: LA-K034P Rev 1.0
                  Service tag: BVV72D3

I fixed a dell vostro 3400 that had a bad bios so i reflashed a working one. I have tried looking at the old bios dump for the windows key but I could not find any key. Maybe the old bios was corrupt which corrupted the section with the windows key but could someone look at the attached dump to see if the windows key is indeed gone?

Post the service tag please https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...before-posting

Both bios you posted are identical, apart from the filesize, so you`ve done something wrong . Compare your 16MB backup with the 16MB bios at post 165

us this it works 100% flash both MAIN and EC according to your model 32 or 33. put service tag in first boot and done.
This is suitable in two models Dell Vostro 3400 and Inspiron 3501 only.
Idk if this works in VOSTRO 3500 just try if u want.
                            give feedback

This bios worked on vostro 3500 la-k032p, but it gives a warning that no device to boot is found and does not boot.

                                      - use external keyboard (usb keyboard) and press ALT+F
                                      - then chosse your model laptop
                                      - finally go to bios and write SERVICE TAG
