      It is very important with this model that no resistors on the chip are damaged when the patch is played back.

      Try this files ....

          I too am in Autopatcher hell. I did the autopatch on a T460S and it went flawlessly. Following the exact same process, it then failed on TWO T480s. I made it all the way throught the process to where you flash the original BIOS back on. Now both units are black screen and won't boot. Details;

          1st: Type: 20L8S0AS00 SN: PC0ZENVD
          2nd: Type: 20L8S0AS00 SN: PCOZEV82

            Hi All, I'm stuck in Autopatcher hell,,,. I did the autopatch on a T460S and it went flawlessly. Following the exact same process, it then failed on not one but TWO T480s. I made it all the way through the process to where you flash the original BIOS back on. Now both units are black screen and won't boot. Details;

            2nd: Type: 20L8S0AS00 SN: PCOZEV82

            I have original (unpatched) BIOS for both if that helps

                  Thanks! Same process as the autopatcher? Apply the patch version and then the unpatched version?

                        Tried it on one of my two bricked T480s. I have confirmed it's taking the flash successfully. I flashed the images you provide, then read them back, save and run certutil to verify the hash on the flash and the original file match. When I try to boot I get the 3 flashes on the power button and a black screen and nothing else. CPU fan spins for 2 seconds, stops then tries to spin again.

                        Anything else I can try next?

                            danito Thanks for the offer of help. Attached is a ZIP containing 2 BIOS, one from each laptop. These were the "B" pulls that were the second read verified against the first "A" read. Flashing these back after a successful Autopatch is what bricked both units.

                                Tried both images. Programmed to the provided repaired image, then read it back and saved it and ran a comparison check to make sure programmed image matched the original file CRCs. Programming was successful but neither machine will post. Just as before plugging in power give three flashes and machine won't post. I've tried the hold power for 30 seconds as well as holding the reset button on the bottom for over 60 secs. Any other options I can try?
