Thank you for bin files.
I have flashed both bios chips,varified 100%.
When i tried to start laptop its dead.I press power button there is no led lights
no dvd lights,no fan running.
I have not been able to flash kb1902.
How do you flash kb9012 so many pins.
Can flashing be done with ch341 with added accessory.
Any advice will be welcomed.Comment

Yes you can use the CH341A and flashrom to program the KB9012

I just used your A20 files to recover my friends Vostro. No need to flash the ENE KB9012 chip, jut those two and... voilá!! Up'n'runnin! With i5-3230M, 8GB DDR3@1600MHz and 256GB Samsung Evo SSD, this one is still a fair mobile device!

Power light comes on, fan spins, it goes through dell diognostic
but nothing on screen, screen is blank. Nothing on external.
I think it may be bios.
Please can anybody share working bios please.

I have now fixed my motherboard.
Bios file A20 did not work for me. The bios file A17 by
MCPLSLG123 worked and my laptop is back to life.
I only needed to flash both bios chip and did not need
to flash kbc. I also managed to fix 2nd motherboard with similar
problem with same bios file.Thank you MCPLSLG123 you are briliant.Comment

I have a vostro 3560 that has black screen with one beep continuous. the dell bios update from a15 to a20 does not work says software not compatible.
after trying to boot 20 times works
the beep code says checksum error.
how can I update this bios to the a20. dell site says urgent but does not work o win 10 64 bits
I download these bins but no sure how that works. please helpComment

Software won`t backup. If you can boot to the bios check the version number,then boot into windows and flash the bios to the next version upthen the next.
Check the CMOS battery voltage as well.If you can`t boot up at all buy a programmer and a sop8 clip ,the cheapest is the CH341A .Comment

Try and flash A16 first ,then A17 ,A19 ,then to A20 if you want. Each time you flash you risk bricking the laptop.If it does get bricked then you will need a programmer.

i try to upgrade my Vostro360 from A13 and using 4Mb.bin from here i see there's a chance to do that. What i see unfortunately is "The BIOS image must support the ATp!".

Hi, I have a problem while updating the bios 1.27.0. After that the display went off & the bios states as Dell Inspiron 3505 in the F2 boot > bios > Device when I plug into a secondary monitor. As I don't have any experience in bios, request you to please help me to flash the Vostro bios as they share the common motherboard (GDI53 LA-K037P).

Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....
