Hello there,

I hope you are having a good day.

Problem:-

Long story short, I own a 2011 model of Samsung NP300E5Z laptop and unable to change BIOS settings because I've forgotten it's password.

I followed few youtube videos and removed the CMOS battery, kept it overnight but NO LUCK! :-(

I've even tried the BIOS master password generators with the 'System Disable code' but even that hasn't helped!

I just want to reset BIOS password without formatting my Windows with current version.

I don't know where the DIP switch/Reset jumper switch is on this Phoenix motherboard. If you post a pic of this switch on motherboard, (for this exact model), it would be really awesome

I also don't know how to install/flash a new BIOS on top of existing BIOS. Is it possible to just overwrite existing locked BIOS with new one?
Could you please help me with this regard?
I tried searching for any existing threads and couldn't find one. So, kindly help me.

You need to backup your password locked bios and post it here for help. You need to have a bios programmer for this job.

Sure SMDFlea. I will do it once I get home. However, just curious to know how will it help when compared to old codes? I've already put several System disable codes already. Will those help?
