UEFI OPTION ROM insert asus x555ld

Hi, I post in this section because I think I not request a bios dump, if I'm in error ....
In the original bios, there isn't a vbios option rom, in a dump that it work well there is a wrong vbios option rom.
At the moment I not be able to use uefi tool so I try with MMtool Aptio to replace the 10DE 1140 (nvidia 820m) with 10DE 1299 (nvidi 920m) .
The option rom is replaced but with strange result, other option rom in the list have the Vendor ID and Device id as not detected.
Obviously there is a secure problem with UEFI infact MMtool classific when I save it as unsecure. I don't know if original bios works after insert vbios.
I attach , if someone can hel me
    X555LD_BAD_VBIOS.bin -> 10DE 1140 instead 10DE 1299
    X555LD_ORIGINAL_NO_VBIOS -> not VBIOS

Maybe this can help you if your issue is similar:

Had a X53SV laptop with a K53SV rev2.4 motherboard. No POST, corrupt BIOS. The dump I found for r2.4 was even worse (no power), so I used a r2.3 but it was for a different laptop (K53SM I think) which has a different GPU. Booted fine but GPU couldn't initialize under Windows, 640x480 16 colors. I downloaded the BIOS update from Asus, but Easy Flash wouldn't flash it as it was recognized as the wrong model. So I used AFUDOS 5 on a FreeDOS USB key to flash it, with parameter /X to force the flash. (and /P /N /B I think to flash bootblock/main/NVRAM). Now everything works perfectly fine.

i7 5-xxxx I tryed with bios in old post but it not work. original bios is in my first message but there isn't vbios. All files I download from asus related to this model (I try with F555LD, F555LDB, X555LD, seems to be 10DE 1140 but for example if I download another model as x556uj that has 920m , mmtool return correct pci idd.

Need Custom BIOS (UEFI/Dualboot) for Lenovo Chromebook 100e Gen 3

                        Hey everyone!
I need help with my Lenovo Chromebook 100e Gen 3.

                        I bought a new Winbond 25Q128FVSG chip.
The chip currently on the board is the same model but with different ending letters.
I can’t use the CH341 clip on the chip that’s on the board because it’s too low-profile and doesn’t make proper contact.

The Chromebook is Google account locked, and I’ve already tried everything.
I understand that I need to replace or...

Is unlocking UEFI worth the hassle? (Surface Pro 4)
                        by CronaxFD
                        Hey guys,

Bought myself Surface Pro 4 tablet today on a local craigslist-type website.
I've seen that UEFI was password protected and of course the seller forgot the password, but decided to buy it anyway.
Really needed such a tablet to use with RomRaider to do some logging/tuning on my car.
It has secure boot turned off and boots from USB, so I've formatted SSD and have done clean win10 install.

Works fine, but wanted to ask, are there any real security risks associated with UEFI settings on Surface (remote access etc.)?

                        From what I've...

Intel NUC NUC6i3SYH UEFI Update went wrong
                        by S70rm7r00p3r
                        Hi guys.

I am very new to this business and i have some questions. Maybe someone can help me further.

I have a 2015 Intel NUC NUC6i3SYH and for some internet and office the computer works perfectly. Lately it has been bugging me a bit on and off. Then I saw there is a UEFI update from Intel and I thought if I put it on, the problems might be gone, but unfortunately the update didn't go through. The screen stayed black and after waiting for a while nothing happened, I had to pull the plug at some point. Of course, the NUC then failed to boot!

                        ...

Motherboard not booting up Issue - ASRock IMB-150
                        by Dergal T Stonkerson
I have an ASRock motherboard (IMB-150) with Mini-Sata Solid State Drive. I have removed the SSD card and re-inserted. After re-inserting the device will not boot up. During boot up error displayed "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press any key".

Connections on motherboard and ssd card look in good condition, no signs of wear or damaged connections.

During boot up I pressed F2 to select UEFI setup menu and mSATA 3IE is listed as boot device with no other option available.

                        Anyone have some advice...
