I have difficulty with my tl866 read the source of the two chips, I have to remove (chek-id) on the program minipro to be able to read them and I think the empty content. Both the bios and the ec chips.
the laptop does not show signs of life no LED but there is voltage at the ends of the battery.

There was a little bit of code in U366Old ,check your tl866 firmware and reseat in zif socket . Are you using a clip ? ,if so desolder them.Comment

Try these. The first bios old1_ME CLEAN is your bios with clean ME.The 2nd has the latest update merged,but you will lose DMI info,you may have to use nbdmifit/BCU to add the DMI info.Last edited by SMDFlea; 03-25-2019, 10:51 AM.Comment

Update, with the last bios now the laptop only turns on the white led for 10 seconds then turns off and turns on the orange one for a moment. then the orange-white LED turns on alternately 2 times. The fan does not start and neither does the videoComment

Thank you very much for your support and help but continue to make the usual LED signals. Probably the problem will be on the chipset or video. I have always had problems of this type with elitebook series laptops sometimes they do not turn on and abnormal flashes of the LEDsComment

Hello!
I have problem with Hp 850 G1 - The laptop is my wife's.
When she starts the computer, the following message is displayed as in the photo.
I am also attaching the bios files downloaded from this laptop.
Configuration:
I7-4600u / 16 MB RAM/ 256 SSD/ Intel HD + AMD RADEON HD8500M/ FHD
BIOS ver: 01.49

BIOS Corruption - Cause
So I managed to corrupt my machine by installing linux and enrolling custom secure boot keys. I did choose to enroll the Microsoft keys as well, to prevent any potential bricking due to 3rd party drivers from HP being signed with those keys.
After doing that, and rebooting(it did boot, powerLED, fanspin etc.), the laptop did not give any video output on the LCD or video connectors. I think I was able to get in BIOS and trigger the beeper by pressing ESC.... -

Hello,
I have an EliteBook 850 G5. After a Windows update, including a BIOS update, the notebook turns on, but the screen remains black, and the fans spin at high speed—nothing else happens.
I assume the BIOS update failed, so I searched for the BIOS chip.
I found a Winbond chip located between the RAM and the hard drive, which has a size of 32 MB.
However, the BIOS update available on HP's website is only 17 MB in size. I used the update version that was previously installed when the notebook was still working.
