Dell Inspiron 5459 BIOS and Error codes

    Dell Inspiron 5459 BIOS and Error codes

    Please help to identify new dell error code list. I can't find in dell website.

    Machine is Inspiron 5459 error code 3amber 1white led blink, which I suspect it is BIOS error not sure though.

    I used couple of BIOS with no luck from badcaps.
    Configuration is i7 with dedicated amd graphics.


    Somebody please help me to get original bios from below link.

      3 Yellow 1 White blink is a CMOS battery issue.Check the CMOS battery voltage

          finally solved, it was my mistake I was testing after removing CMOS battery.

              Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

              Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

              The Dell Inspiron 3480 I own (the all in one, not the laptop) is not wanting to turn on at all. It goes right to a dell logo, but it stays there forever with no other information on the screen. Holding the automatic Bios repair key combo (ctrl+esc) that should let it read a recovery file off a USB drive gets stuck on a black screen and does nothing. No amount of resetting anything so far has worked, and Dell's own support downloads have not really helped. Ive tried another BIN file I found online using my CH341A, and this got me slightly more, that time it displayed a loading bar that never moved...

I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W).
