The flash descriptor is missing from your bios backup. Try this one

Hold down left + right arrow keys and power up, there may be a message then on screen about the flash descriptor being unlocked, then you can make a backup or flash the bios at post #3 with Flash Programming Tool. The flash descriptor will lock again at shutdown/reboot.If it doesn`t work use a bios programmer, desolder or use a sop8 clip .

                  Re: Probook 450g3 bios

You can`t backup that part of the bios with universal bios toolkit ,because the flash descriptor part of the bios is locked. Try what i said at post #5 ,if that doesn`t work, try holding down the Win key and l + r buttons while powering up. If nothing works use a bios programmer ,flash the bios at post #3 or #6 .

Your backup is definitely not proper. I too use RT809F programmer but i never get such broken backup. Btw, You try this bios and post result.

                          by mikeybass
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

Fixed: Lenovo P14s Gen 1 (type 20Y1, 20Y2) Laptop (ThinkPad) bricked by a withdrawn BIOS update (r1buj82w)

                          Hi!
Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).

Incidentally, Windows 11 have recently started auto-flashing computer BIOS in our region. Even more suspiciously, Lenovo has released a BIOS update just few days before the PC was trashed. About a week later, the BIOS update image has been oficially marked...

Update bios EFCN58WW to EFCN59WW for solving The Connected AC adapter has a lower wattage than the recommended AC adapter

                          I have a Lenovo Legion 5 15imh05a device that I bought used online. It came with a 20V 8.5A 170W charger.

                          The BIOS version is EFCN58WW.

When I turn on the device, it displays the message:
"The Connected AC adapter has a lower wattage than the recommended AC adapter..."

The device rarely charges the battery, and even when it does, it doesn't show that it's charging.

                          I've tried

Asus BIOS How To Reset To Default Settings?
                          by YG007
Hello... Where do I start. I have 2 questions/scenarios that might bring this laptop back to life, so here it goes!

I have this laptop (Asus UX52VS) where I was flashing the BIOS to it and it froze during the process. I didn't have a reliable BIOS chip programmer at the time (It was a CH341A USB Programmer from Amazon where it took hours just to get the clamp on the chip and then every time I read, it gave me different results/corruption, and never would pass the verify test as no 2 reads were the same data), so I brought it to a shop. They had it for almost 2 months, but during...
