Laptop S/N# 5CD65190Z2 It is a DA0X81MB6E0 REV:E HP ProBook 430 G4 The problem is the very slow bootup to HP logo. I haven't got the first, original bios from motherboard. What i have uploaded is an already modified one, but it works, too slowly.

Got a dead ProBook 430 G4. Unfortunately the CPU was dead (shorted) so I replaced the board. To edit DMI data, MPM has to be unlocked. But the "new" board was used and thus locked.
None of the methods found online worked. This method works:
                1. Dump the BIOSes from both boards.
                2. Extract NVRAM (Intel image -> BIOS region -> EfiSystemNvDataFvGuid) from the original board BIOS (e.g. using UEFITool).
                3. Replace NVRAM in the new board BIOS with file from (2).
                4. Use hex editor to edit HpMpm NVRAM variable - set the bytes to 01 22 00 00 00 00 00 00 (01 = enabled, 0x22 = remaining boot count until autolock).
                5. Boot the new board with this modified BIOS. MPM is now unlocked and all DMI data preserved. Change board serial number using wndmifit. Reset BIOS settings to factory default and also reset security.
                6. Update the BIOS and ME firmware.

Request HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 (J06) BIOS dump to restore system firmware
                    by Ahari
                    Hi all,

This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.

I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

                    I...

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
                    by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                    Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

                    Troubleshooting Attempts:
                    ...

Bricked HP Probook 450 G7 Bios questions
                    by studdy05
Hp Probook 450 G7 s# SCD0348W35 had a locked BIOS. Bought BIOS and EC chips off Ebay that were supposed to match this machine - the 450 G7. Flashed in the BIOS on chip i bought using a CH341. BIOS unlocked next boot. Some error to contact HP. Entered BIOS and reset to system defaults and rebooted. Machine worked fine but every cold boot the contact HP message popped and everything else worked as fine. Assumed the error was from EC chip not matching BIOS that i just flashed in. So i flashed in the EC that was supposed to match from the EBay chip i bought and instant brick.

                    Ive got...

                    Hi all,

My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
(I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)
