Thanks. I tried it and it's working.
What I notice with this laptop is when i plug the charger without battery the laptop power on itself. (is that bad?)
Then it will work the whole day. The following morning when i try to power it on, same thing happen won't come and I only see charging light.
When I try to press pw sw it will standbyoff screen , then press it twice the display comes out again.. so i think power switch is working.Last edited by winpinph; 06-27-2018, 08:13 PM.Comment

I have a problem to program this BIOS, when it ends it throws the following error, some have had that experience can help me, I am using miPro tl80, the chip is the 25B64CSIG in the programmer's library only the GD25Q64B reference appears to me from the manufacturer GigaDeviceAttached FilesPremium supporters get full download access and other benefits.

I’m troubleshooting an ASUS ROG Strix B660-I Gaming WiFi motherboard and I’m a bit stuck at the BIOS level. What I’ve tried so far- Attempted to flash the BIOS using the USB BIOS FlashBack (Q-Flash) port with a properly formatted FAT32 USB drive.
- BIOS file downloaded directly from the official ASUS support page.
- Followed the exact FlashBack procedure (correct port, renamed file, standby power only).
Issue:
The FlashBack LED does not blink at all — no activity whatsoever. Further investigation

Hey guys, I have an "ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506NF (2021)" that's locked with a UEFI password, I need to reprogram the BIOS chip but can't find a clean ".bin" file for this specific model, I've tried the official BIOS updates from ASUS support page, but they're 32MB updaters that don't extract to a usable 2MB .bin file for direct chip programming.
What I currently have available:
- Model: FA506NF (2021)
- BIOS chip: GD25LQ16 (16Mbit/2MB)
- Tools: CH341A programmer ready to use

Hello everyone,
I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.
When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.
I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder... -

I've got an old Asus K75V (K75VJ) laptop, that I updated to Windows11.
The upgrade itself was succesfull, but had trouble installing new security updates.
After a lot of Windows troubleshooting and no success, I took a look at the Asus support site and found new Bios version.
K75VJ - Support
When downloading the bios update, the name of the download was "K45VMAS233", and made me causious and doubtful.
When I opened the Bios and loaded the file, I checked the current version and the... -
need original bios dump, original bios has flashed by other technician before me.
attached bios was read from the chip but no display and amperage fluctuating from 0.6A to 0.34 and back to 0.6A.
