I have my three laptops that I'm having trouble with patching... A T580, a T470, and an X1 carbon gen 3. I've tried the available files here too, with no success.

I'm able to read and write the original files, and they boot as usual.

Could someone please help?

Apologies for the double post, but I was successful in creating a patch for the T470. Still no luck on the carbon or 580.

Good afternoon ! who can fix my dump my bios dump. after replacing the files I received 5 beeps and the inscription press f1, after pressing the black screen, I drop the original, no change, please help!

At first I have to thank you all of you guys here for all of this work. I have no programming skills and I just have tested some of your artwork. There is one question that I´m wondering. I have tested same (patched) dump for same computer many times. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn`t. I`ve tested this with x240 and t440p machines (their own patches ofcourse). Programming goes well and verifying ok but sometimes patch is halted somewhere. I program original bios and then try patch again and it (usually)works. Weird?

Instrucion for everyone

1. Remove The Battery CMOS . Also make sure laptop's main battery is out and disconnect the internal front battery if used (many new Lenovo may have an internal battery, the black box) by removing its connector from the motherboard. It is important that the laptop will have NO The main Battery attached and the NO Battery CMOS .
2. Insert other LOCK HDD OR SSD M.2 ( by the way use another laptop set up password lock HDD and remember your password )
3. ReFlash BIOS with patched file
4. The First Step Let Press Down and Still Keep Little Switch ( picture attached ) long time and The Second Step Let Plug in the AC adapter and wait for a few seconds, the laptop will start by itself (if not, press the Power button and start it). You may hear some beeps then you will see the Lenovo splash image, press F1 to get the SVP password prompt and enter "1234" for SVP and press Enter. Next page will showing "Press any key..". Wait about 10 to 12 seconds before pressing any Key. Next it will display the warning message and the laptop hardware ID. Do not disconnect the AC during this process!

SD Tech. look at the post 490 from Deni981 he described how and what to do, only after receiving the ID you need to wait a bit for 10-15 seconds, then press ENTER, after asking to press SPACE 2 times, after it displays a message that you can turn off the power, roll up chip your Bios dump that was password-protected, you start the laptop without batteries, it should start with an error ITEM TIME, press F1, adjust the BIOS settings, turn off the laptop, connect the batteries and the power supply, and you will be happy
