Hi, can somebody help with T560 password.
I tried to replace the two files, but I get black screen and 2x5 beeps.
          Thanks.

NEVERMIND I found it.. I was able to compare several files on here and found the changes.

FINALLY!!!! After comparing the files and using both a hex editor and UEFITool I was able to find my problem. I then used the original file and made a patch as well. When I run a comparison it comes back exactly as the patch xdrive55 created. Just had to replace one last region and BAM.. Will have to try it out. Thanks for your help xdrive55 and for all who posted in this tread that contributed.

Worked like a charm for the first laptop.

I will try with the second one.

                            Thank you so much.

Hello, I've tried patching a Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 6 to no avail. I'm always getting an 8 beep error code and a blank screen. I want to know if its just about replacing the modules or additional steps have to be taken. I had an earlier X1 Gen 6 patched successfully in this forum (thank you dani981).But when I use that bios file, it gets to where I press F1 to enter setup and then it writes "entering setup..." and then nothing happens. I extracted the modules from the earlier patched bios and used them to patch this current X1, but all I get is 8 beeps. I want to know if UEFI Tools alone is enough. I will be grateful if this file will be patched for me. Thanks in advance.

Hi, i have an ASUS PRIME Z590M-PLUS board, which had an shorted Z590 chipset. I have succesfully exchanged the chipset to a factory new one, however there is a serious problem with the Intel Management Engine (later on: ME) not beeing activated after the chipset device replacement.

For lower chipset families (on ASUS boards) it worked to program the oldest bios version into the SPI rom, and the bios had activated the Management Engine itself by default - there was a message on the screen prior booting - "BIOS is updating Management Engine ..... . Do not shut down to prevent...

Intel NUC NUC6i3SYH UEFI Update went wrong

                                            Hi guys.

I am very new to this business and i have some questions. Maybe someone can help me further.

I have a 2015 Intel NUC NUC6i3SYH and for some internet and office the computer works perfectly. Lately it has been bugging me a bit on and off. Then I saw there is a UEFI update from Intel and I thought if I put it on, the problems might be gone, but unfortunately the update didn't go through. The screen stayed black and after waiting for a while nothing happened, I had to pull the plug at some point. Of course, the NUC then failed to boot!

Hi, I would appreciate your help with the following problem.

I have a Fujitsu laptop AH562 witn a BIOS-UEFI problem since I converted the HDD to a SSD. For more details on the paltop go to the following link:

                                            http://support.fujitsupc.com/CS/Port...srch=TECHSPECS

After copying the HDD to SSD with ALtiris utility provided with the Kingston SSD and replacing the HDD with the SSD the laptop went into a startup loop with no screen display and only the disk LED flashing twice per second. I waited for approximatly 2h and then stopped the laptop...

I'm stumped with this one; it was a dropoff freebie. Blank hard drive, uefi/gpt booting from USB to install OS, never gets to installer startup screen.... Win10 21H2 BSOD with stopcode 0xc000021a. BIOS settings are what they should be; legacy boot off, secureboot off. Firmware updated to latest version (A28).

It will UEFI boot & install mint 21 just fine. Will also legacy boot & install win7 and win10 just fine as well...just won't USB UEFI boot to the 10 installer...no clue as to why!

Hi there, recently my kid decided to mess with the uefi, don't even know how he got there and incredibly placed an Administrator Password (What's new!!!!). Of course now he doesn't know what he typed in, result, as soon as laptop boots up a password is asked. Now, I've been working with computers all my life, but my knowledge about this new UEFI chips is very limited. I've taken it out and with a rom programmer I can see a bunch of stuff in it. Does anyone know the location where the passwords are stored?
The UEFI Chip is a Gigadevice GD25B64C and the orginal rom dump is attached.
