    FIX BIOS for Lenovo G50-70 please

    I would like to ask for help with BIOS.

    I got Lenovo G50-70 ACLU1 NM-271 with no image and shut down after a while, so I downloaded BIOS dump (in attachements), reflashed, system started about 20s with no image and than I can see LENOVO on screen I can boot.
    Tried anothed image with the same result.

    If I try reflashed with downloaded BIOS, it failed (see attached picture).

    In some thread on this forum I read about fixing this issue by editing crashed BIOS with some part from working dump.

    Can somebody more practised and senior fix my BIOS please? It would be very helpful for me.

    Or recommend some BIOS utility for editing Insyde dumps.

      Updated information. When I reflashed "corrupted" dump to a new SPI ROM, laptop started like a charm. So I guess the problem was bad BIOS chip as I cannot erase a rewrite it anymore.

      So problem solved

          Hello,

          I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
          So I thought it was a Bios problem.
          I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

          Need Clean BIOS/EC Bin File for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e - Stuck with 0275 Error CMS

          Hello everyone,

          I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.

          This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

          I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...

          Dear Forum Readers!

          I'm looking for a BIOS modder or anyone with experience who would give me suggestions about my razer blade's BIOS settings.
          I can view and edit the content of the BIOS .bin file with AMIBCP BIOS editor.
          The BIOS files I'm working with are from badcaps.net and those are CLEAN BIOS files (anyone can find it with the search string: RZ09-0421).

          Lenovo IdeaPad 3 - Hard Disk not recognized in BIOS

          Dear all,

          I have recently fixed a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 ALC6 that was not booting due to a BIOS issue. After flashing the BIOS, the laptop boots up, but hard disk is not recognized in BIOS. Is says "Hard Disk : Not Installed". I have tried with 2 different drives (one that I know is working on another laptop) but I get the same result. I do not know if disks were recognized before I got the laptop and fix it, but I don't see any reason why not. I can boot on USB though.

          Here the steps I have taken to fix the laptop:
          - downloaded latest BIOS from Lenovo Website...
