I cannot explain for the detail, you need many trial for that...
but if you sure the password is store in the bios chip,
After you get lockedbios file, and you must get update file from vendor, i usually use uefi tool and hexeditor, to mix that files...Comment

in most cases you have on vendor support site bios with no password, then hex copy serial and model info in unprotected file and flash that file
or flash file from other laptop with no passwordIm Back... sort of...

but not all vendor give full bios, just update bios part,...
This is my experience password bios case in this month,when there is hard to find CLEANDUMP bios file out there...
this notebook is :
LG-GRAM 14Z950 PASSWORD POWER ON;3x wrong input, the system will be disabled and no hashcode...
i have no schematic,but i am sure if the password is store in the bios chip MX25L12873F,
Tools:
-any SPI Programmer
-UEFITool
-HexDump
-7Zip
in short words....
1. With any Spiprogrammer(i use the olddevice LPT-NANOBIOS+willem software),you'll get the file DUMP.BIN(16MB)
2. Find the update file (14Z950FB_x64.RAR)from LG site, extract 14Z950FB_x64.RAR with 7Zip.
Find the \\BIOS\14Z950FB_x64\.rsrc\1042\FILE\177 (7.641KB) (no extensions)...177 file is updatefile.
3. Now you have 2 files : DUMP.BIN(16MB) and 177(7MB)
4. Open that 2 files with uefitool(to verify) if the biosregionfile from 2 files is exactly...
you will see if the dumpfile DUMP.BIN(16MB) is full bios with (including descriptor region,me region,padding,bios regions(8files)),but for the 177(7MB) only bios region with padding, and 7files.
Now compare 2 files, and find the identical files module from biosregion.... i got 6 files identical (guid name and size)
5. - With UEFItool Replace "6 files identicalbiosregion" DUMP(16MB) with extracted "6 files identicalbiosregion" from 177(7MB)
- Or you can use Hexeditor to copy/insert biosregion with help detail from uefitool (to get exact offset and size biosregion file)
6. Save this file as newfile.bin(16MB), now you can close uefitool-177(7MB).
7. Remember if newfile.bin(16MB) is blank serial nr,etc....to insert new serial nr,you can use LG_DMItool (like HP using NBDMIfit),,
8. if you dont have dmitool, For the Serial Number etc,(writedown from bottom case),And you can use uefitool again to search sn from DUMP.BIN(16mb) for replace again to newfile.bin(16MB) OR you can use HEXeditor....
your file ready to flash to chip...

already programed it with two file bios same board id
the issues the machine boot up after 16 second so i need to know if there is a way to get the password from the original machine bios.

use ufi tool ne alpha 32, drag and drop ufi bin and go to the bios section click expand and search for vssstore , expand and u have all those things in there. example csn , sku and others.Comment

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -
Hello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.
My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).
Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set.... -

To put you in context I recently replaced the battery from my HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns with a used one, everything was going good. The same day, I decided to update the BIOS, everything went good. The thing occurred after I let the battery drain iddling on Windows 11 for the second time to calibrate it that the screen did not turn on again, the computer was on but the screen did not turn, like it would not wake from hibernation. I decided to restart the computer but got no video.

I got a Lenovo ThinkStation P520 (Type 30BF) from a friend, asking me for a repair. Windows 11 offered a firmware upgrade as an optional update, and it failed.
The emergency flash procedure from the hardware manual has also failed. So, I asked an acquaintance with better skills to flash the BIOS directly.
However, the chip (a Macronix MX25L25673GMI-08G) has a size of 32 MB, and the BIOS file from the Lenovo website (extracted with UEFITool) has a little more than 16 MB. Thus, the software my acquaintance used (SiberiaProg v1.45, with a CH341A Programmer)...
