Re: Hp 6460b bios
I finally managed to append my own DMI information into the original BIOS backup for ProBook 6460b that is available earlier in this thread and boot the laptop properly.
This is what I did,
1- Download the original BIOS dump posted in this thread by imranromi on 11-24-2016, 06:46 AM. File: HP 6460B 6050a2398701 4MB.zip
2- Rename it as BIOS.bin and open with an hex editor; I use Notepad++ with the additional HEX Plugin
3- Jump to memory address containing DMI; S/N at offset 0x00311003
4- Modify manually DMI with your hex editor; S/N, P/N, Asset Tag as per stickers inside your laptop
5- Save as new file BIOS_personalized.bin and clean the ME Region;
See dedicated tutorial -> https://winraid.level1techs.com/t/gu...lization/31277
6- Flash the final BIOS_personalized_cleaned.bin to your laptopComment

by TyMercerApologies if this is the wrong forum, but I'm not looking for a specific BIOS file, I'm trying to understand how one makes a clean BIOS file. So here's the background. I have 2 HP EliteDesk 800 g2 mini 35w pcs. One is working fine; the other doesn't have display out or working USB's nor does it have any flashing error lights. The CPU does get worm enough to cause the fan to spin up, so I think it's posting, but I just don't know. I had it working at one point but trouble started when I tried to put in a drive caddy that had a cooling fan on it. I thought it would be compatible but wasn't...

by mkdjDear all,
I have a ASUS ZenBook UX480F with the following symptoms:
I suspect it is a BIOS issue. So I decided to try to clean the ME region. I followed the guide on win-raid, and I believe I have done everything correctly. My problem is: when I open the outimage.bin in ME Analyzer, it says that it is Extracted, and not Region, Extracted as it should be. Is it normal, or did I do something not correctly? This is my first experience editing BIOS files.
I would appreciate if someone could take time to explain the issue, so that I can learn. But I would...-

by Habble7The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

by CityminHi all,
My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
(I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)
