of all people i would expect from you to post old dump or motherboard number

anyways, backup old bios and try this, no serial, extracted from web update
two different veriosn inside BID01982 and BID02139

And the comp did a restart and deleted 2 min of writing .
lazy after work soo abandon and wrote from phone.

Nvm something happen with the chip after i read it starting to give error on verify.
Thats why i wanted to write you.
Got the old file but tonight cuz only tomorrow i will work on that sh itty hp.
I will attach the file with it and everything.

ok, it was a joke anyway but we think alike

if eeprom erases, writes but cannot verify its most likely faulty so its best to replace it

you wrote that no light on power jack... that may be hardware fault but may also be the EC or EC bios... if board has second eeprom dump it as well

if your power brick (adapter) has 3 pins, be sure to try with another known working one, sometimes middle pin get loose and it can do strange symptoms...

this is the original bios!

after i copy i try to verify and start to give me error.


after a full erase i program it back and notebook came to life but no display.

this is why is suspect the bios may be culprit.

i can confirm that your dump is not working, but i have managed to determine bios for you
and i fixed dmi data for you

take attached file, erase eprom, write this file and verify... it must verify, otherwise change eeprom IC

badcaps is runnung slow for me, it takes me 5 min to download 2-3mb
sometimes i cant open forum at all

BT and friends lost a lot of fibre the other day in a tunnel fire.
nobody really knows the truth about what happened because the area has a lot of semi-secret government and private tunnels in close proximity to each other.

im glad to hear that

if you enter bios and there is no serial num or model num the fix it with nbdmifit
(it should be, i copied that data from your dump)

that data can be found on bottom of the laptop or when battery is taken out
