Could somebody help me please with a working BIOS for Vaio SVE15112FXS (DA0HK5PI6E0 Rev. E SWX-390)?
On eeprom is the original version R0170E5 (attached) which became R/O, I cannot change any settings except date and time. It cannot be updated as well, I get an error message when trying the update tool from sony website.

With HM70 PCH, CPU cannot be Core i3/i5/i7, must be Pentium/Celeron.

have this laptop that show on bios ME : UNKNOWN
Tried to update bios from windows, doesn't work.
Replaced Bios chip, still can't update bios.

The sr01n is an i3-3110M .Please read post 89 again, the i CPU`s will not work,thats why its showing ME as unknown. The bios can`t be fixed,it will do nothing, change the CPU instead to a Pentium or Celeron that is compatible with the HM70 PCH chipset
