    Lenovo ThinkBook 13s Gen 3 ACN – Need Help Fixing Corrupted BIOS (W74M12JW)

    Hello everyone,
    I’m working on a Lenovo ThinkBook 13s Gen 3 ACN (AMD Ryzen 5 5600U) with a Winbond W74M12JW 16MB BIOS chip

    Symptoms:
    • No display, fan spins, white LED blinking
    • Temporary boot after flashing another BIOS
    • Dies again after reboot
    • Current BIOS dump appears corrupted (mostly FF-filled, no valid UEFI structure)

    What I already tried:
    • External flash with CH341A + proper 1.8V supply
    • Flashed GMCN33WW-031F.bin (booted once, then failed again)
    • Reflashed original dump → same issue
    • Power reset, battery disconnect
    • RAM reflow attempt (no change)

    I am looking for:
    • A clean, verified 16MB BIOS dump for ThinkBook 13s G3 ACN
    • Or help rebuilding a proper BIOS image from official Lenovo BIOS

    If anyone has a working dump or experience with this exact model, I would really appreciate your help.

              Hello,

              I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
              So I thought it was a Bios problem.
              I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

              Hello, the bios on my Lenovo TD350 ThinkServer got corrupted during a bios update, the bios restore function killed the Server.
              I need to flash the bios inside the MX25L12835F SOP8, i have already desolder the chip and solder it into my SOP8 adapter and read it with a ROM programmer.
              I use the innoextract 1.9 software to extract the bios file from the .exe file that i download from lenovo website, can you help me edit the Hex file (removing the Index part and resize the file)?

              Hi all,

              I got a Lenovo Thinkbook 16P G2 ACH on the bench with a botched BIOS (somehow my client blanked it). I restored the laptop and got it up and running with original BIOS from Lenovo Support website.
              My problem is now that the machine details are missing in the BIOS (Serial Number, MTM, etc.)
              I tried to write the details with the Lenovo Uone Tool but had now luck. It is giving me an error: "ERROR: Locate protocol with LenovoEeprom, Status=[e]. EEPROM fail when reading or writing data."
              I am now asking here for help if anyone knows how to do this in...
