            You can use HP BCU
            https://ftp.ext.hp.com/pub/caps-soft...it/HP_BCU.html

S/N, product ID, model name, feature byte, etc should already be present
Change "Manufacturing Programming Mode" to *Lock (delete the asterisk in front of *Unlock and add it to Lock)

            Code:
            Manufacturing Programming Mode
            *Lock
            Unlock
MPM should also lock after few reboots and the message will go away

As the bios is no longer a problem you should start a new topic in laptop troubleshooting if you want help with a hardware problem.

i keep it here because i thought it's related to the bios, before the bios issue the battery was fine

May be a coincidence, start by measuring voltage on main power rail with only the battery connected

The BIOS may have corrupted when it was being updated and the charge circuit failed at the same time
Start a new thread in troubleshooting laptops section, to me it looks like an issue with the battery charge circuit

                          by macabook
                          Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                          🧩 Initial Issue
                          • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                          • External display (HDMI) shows
                          ...

                          by pirati
                          Hello everyone,

I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.

When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...

                          hello dear friends
I recently bought this motherboard and I'm having a lot of problems.
                          - The Wi-Fi doesn't appear in the Network Card in Device Manager (The Wi-Fi card and the Wi-Fi work fine when I installed the old motherboard)
                          - The hard drive is missing when i reboot the system and reappears when i reboot again (crtl+alt+del).
                          - When I tried to do an internal BIOS update it doesn't work it always fails.

Can someone help me update the BIOS or give me a new clean BIOS?
