helo guys. i want to reset my bios password. i downloaded rc unlocker but it asks for dump file. that i dont have. what is the complete procedure to reset my bios password. my SN is 5CG5080F2G

First you need an SPI programmer to read the BIOS chip content then save a copy to a safe place...here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...nnel=ThisIsHow
Second patch it with RC Unlocker or if you fail somebody will patch the content for you, put the content in a zip file and upload here.
Write the patched content to your chip.
That's all.
P.S. Find a chip which has 128 in the name and that's your BIOS chip

No need to dump the bios. On this model the password can actually be reset with a little trick.

He does it on an 820 G1, but this also works on the 640 G1. I' ve tried it myself and was successful.

That's new to me...on which other models did you tried successfully this method ?
I used this method (shorting clock and data) only on ancient laptops BIOS chips...almost forget about it...
P.S.
The provided serial by KALEEM359 is not correct...probably on X360 1040 G11 your method will not work

yes you are write on hp website by searching SN it shows other model. but when i click on identify product manually it shows my original pc. its mysterious for me alsoComment

I've only tried it once on the Probook 640 G1, and it definitely works on this model. Piece of cake.

I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.
