    Lenovo x230i Tablet BIOS REQ

Hi all, my first post here. I was recommended this place, I've got a recently acquired x230i tablet running BIOS version 2.51 (GCET91WW). Some sort of supervisor password is set and I cannot access any of the secureboot etc settings. I've dumped the bios (both chips) with a CH341a and verified the dumps. I tried the autopatcher to no avail. Attached are the files, in a drive link as BadCaps wouldn't let me upload .bin's. Any help with this would be fantastic and much appreciated. The laptop boots fine, and posts to bios.

Thanks for the reply! I don't know if this will reply directly, I've never really used forums before. Will 7zip allow me to convert .bin to .ext? Is that what you're saying? If so that'd be great!
      Cheers

Winrar and 7zip are file compression software.

Hi there, Yep, i'm aware of 7zip and WinRar, but my .bin files are in the google drive folder linked in the post... What do you want me to do with 7zip? Compress to a zip and attach? Are you able to help patch my bios? Thank you ever so much!!

Thanks, I have compressed and attached the dumps of both chips to this reply and I will go back to the original post and edit them in there too.
I appreciate all of your patience and advice.

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem

                  Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
                  Initial Findings:
                  • My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
                  • I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
                  • I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
                  Troubleshooting Steps & Conclusions:
                  • I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
                  • I concluded that the

Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 (serial number: MP2BFZEF) bios request
                  by Wahaz
                  Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 Desktop - Corrupt BIOS
                  by grimacelord
                  Hello there.

I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

                  History:

                  1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

I searched for this error online and discovered...

Need Clean BIOS/EC Bin File for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e - Stuck with 0275 Error CMS

                  Hello everyone,

I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.

This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...

Lenovo IdeaPad 3 - Hard Disk not recognized in BIOS
                  by mkdj
                  Dear all,

I have recently fixed a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 ALC6 that was not booting due to a BIOS issue. After flashing the BIOS, the laptop boots up, but hard disk is not recognized in BIOS. Is says "Hard Disk : Not Installed". I have tried with 2 different drives (one that I know is working on another laptop) but I get the same result. I do not know if disks were recognized before I got the laptop and fix it, but I don't see any reason why not. I can boot on USB though.

Here the steps I have taken to fix the laptop:
                  - downloaded latest BIOS from Lenovo Website...
