I have an Asus s5506ma that was bricked after a Windows update supposedly when it was updating bios. It seems to be a meteorlake Intel CPU core ultra, I cannot find too much info regarding this hardware, anyone have info about if it contains Intel ME engine and if there is any tool for disassemble spi image like we do with all CSME or TXE versions using the appropriate Intel ME tool? The problem is original bios file Asus provides, has bios guard protection, I downloaded the latest update for Ami_pfat_extractor from plomatov (previous versions of AMI bios guard extractor doesn't work),with that I can find the module I believe could be bios REGION, but I would have to use the first 30 percent of bios image from original bios dumped(where flash descriptor for example should be) because I cannot find the way to separate this image in modules. And my concern is original bios image might have data corruption in different modules. Does anyone have any info about this or recommend some method or utility I can use? thanks in advance and sorry maybe for my ignorance πŸ˜”

post S/N, full name and model, motherboard model, etc.
post the contents of the bios chip even if it is corrupted..

          πŸ› οΈ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
          by macabook
          Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
          🧩 Initial Issue
          • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
          • External display (HDMI) shows

          Hello everyone,
I need help with my Lenovo Legion laptop. It turns on for a few seconds and then immediately shuts down. I believe this is a BIOS corruption issue.
          Laptop Model:

          • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
          • Main BIOS chip size: 32MB
          • VBIOS chip size: 16MB
Problem Description: The laptop was working perfectly. Now, when I press the power button, the keyboard lights up and the laptop powers on for just a few seconds, then it shuts itself off completely. After researching, I am convinced it's a corrupt BIOS.

I use the innoextract 1.9 software to extract the bios file from the .exe file that i download from lenovo website, can you help me edit the Hex file (removing the Index part and resize the file)?
