    Lenovo L14 gen 2 unlock with svod4

    Hi,

    I have a problem with a Lenovo L14 gen 2 (intel) with Nuvoton npce68b.
I connected my svod4 with a 32pin cable to the keyboard connector. Ground is also connected and power for the mainboard. I can read the Nuvoton ID, but the dump is always empty. Does anyone have an idea?

This one works in bypass, right?

Thank you, but i already read the both threads yesterday. And i tried bypassing method 4 hours. But didn't work. I tried shorting Pin 26, 27, 28 or 1 shorting to ground. I tried on backlight on at the moment when Logo apears. Nothing! If i short too long or at wrong timinig it freezes, but never got error like fan error or something.

        probably a writing error

        126-127-128 or 1

intel too, amd works more easily. wait for someone else's response to see if it succeeded.
it was to see if you had the info

11th gen ?? Espi this one, don't try the bypass in this case

          Yes sorry it was 126, 127, 128 or 1

And thank you for the links.

          General:

I normally unlock mec16xx chips with the SVOD4. I have little experience with Nuvoton. Am I perhaps doing something wrong? Do I have to solder a resistor? Because I can read the Nuvoton ID, but neither the content nor can I delete the chip.

          EDIT:
It works now. The trick is, only connect a (better full charged) battery. Do not connect usb-c power.

No video when trying to unlock Lenovo T420
            by aaroncm
            Hi guys,

Today I pulled 5 Lenovo T420 laptops out of a bin at the rubbish tip, and they're old school laptops and they're all locked with a supervisor password.

In the past I've unlocked similar Lenovo laptops, often I used the trick of shorting a few pins together on the chip on boot to get into the GUI and overwrite the config but it doesn't look like that is working with these laptops. I guess Lenovo fixed that trick? I have unlocked some other HP laptops by reading the chip, running a patch and re-writing back.

            But I can't work out these T420...
