Hi,
i have Asus ROG Strix G713QE-HX223T where bios update gone wrong
Mainboard: G513-6050A3249301-MB-A01 A1
SN: M4NRKD014612138
CN: XT28
Need new Bios, but file from lenovo website bis 2kb to big. I don't know where to cut the 2kb in file (lenovo website.rar).... -

Bios Unlock Dell OptiPlex 5000
Hi,
i have a Dell OptiPlex 5000 Micro with Bios password. Reading both bios chips without desoldering was not possible, so i desoldered them und made dumps.
Someone can help with unlocking?

But i found solution now!!!
Problem ist SVOD4. In some cases the svod4 programmer makes the mec chip (some kind of) locked. If this happenes the notebook is running, but mec isn't writable.
Then you need RT809H, write the dump back with this programmer and the problem ist gone, now i can write all data like B0 etc with U1. No Problems anymore and no error messages.
The funny part is: once programming with RT809H, programming with svod4 is possible again.Leave a comment:

On SVOD4 it seems that if you send a wrong file to wrong area of MEC, then it destroys the mec?

OK i think i destroyed the board. I took your 2kb file and wrote it as main 256KB. After that the board don't power on. OK my fault, but no problem, just rewrite 256 with new lenovo File. But no write possible anymore. Even erasing is not possible.
When i press erase, it says ok, but on blank check it says error.

Unfortunately I don't have an original 256kb fulldump of EC, because all dumps with 256kb are empty. I tried 20 times, but only got dump with 00. Only the 2kb dump from eeprom worked. Original file is here.
And yes i deleted line 300 till 350 because this is the area where password ist stored. Isn't it?

Lenovo T14 gen 1: 2203: System configuration is invalid
I get "System configuration is invalid" on every boot.
I updated Bios and EC, even updated mec with svod4 with dump from lenovo and afterwards initialized eeprom with U1 and entered new serial. All DMI data are correct in Bios. But still message on every boot.
Any ideas?

Yes, i installed Windows 7 on an old Laptop to get usbfmtpw.exe to work. There i formated it with usbfmtpw.exe and then did the rest with U1. I even tryed with second USB Stick with 4GB. But same result.
Maybe i damaged de mec chip? It was the first time i unlock with svod4. First i tried read and write back but passoword not gone, then i do this:
What i did with svod4 tool:
- read mec main with 192kb
- read mec main with 256kb
- read mec main with 288kb
- read mec eeprom with 2kb
- erased mec main with 192kb

With dump eeprom i can see Block 0,1 / Block 2,3 / Block 4,5 / Block 6,7
And yes i load standard options with F9 then cleaned all security options.

I tried planer service. It is empty. If i want to add, i write this:

It says the SN is ok but one line under it says: "Invalid configuration information area"
Even dump eeprom dump(5) is empty, all with 00 filledHere the 2 files of EC dump.

Help with Thinkpad Maintenace Utility on T590
Hi,
i unlocked my T590 with SVOD4 and wrote new ec from lenovo site. Now password is gone but dmi is missing now. So i have to write it back with Thinkpad Maintenace Utility.
I now have newest version of lenovo U1 golden key software (3.5.52) for USB boot stick. This tool starts the Thinkpad Maintenace Utility V1.20.
But i can't initialize eeprom. It says: "ERROR: Written data is unmatch."
So i can't write sn number without initializing it first.

Hello,
I finally managed to unlock my T590 using the JTAC method with SVOD4. Unfortunately I did not choose eeprom but main. So now I have to add the dmi information.
I have now tried various maintenace tools, but it keeps giving me the error: "error: drive not found to format". What can I do? And what dmi information do I have to enter, just the serial number?
