    ASUS G712LU-H7033T BIOS Repair/Clean

Hi, everyone, so, I've been dealing with some problems with this laptop. The screen isn't recognized by the system. At least not consistently. External monitor works fine, the laptop itself runs completely normal except for the screen. The only way I can make it work is to unplug the battery and press the power button for 40 sec. After that, most of the time the screen works completely normal. So, I´m trying to rule out corrupted bios since this behavior started after a windows update.

I exctracted de bios .bin file.
    Model: G712LU-H7033T
    The S/N: L8NRKD009449313
    The MB model: G532LWS R1.3

Hope you can help me to clean this bios and the ME if needed.

Tried it, but the problem persists. If I turn the laptop off for mas than 2 hours, the next time I power it back on it won’t detect the screen. Do you have any idea what could be wrong?

I just know that bios is not the cause of your problem.

ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI - BIOS Help
              by grimacelord
              Hello,

I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.

I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.

The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.

Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...

Asus ROG Ally X -RC72LA - changed hidden bios settings with 'Smokeless-UMAF', won't get past boot logo
              by throwaway327
ASUS ROG Ally X - (Handheld Gaming PC)
              Model No: RC72LA
              Serial No: SBNVKD001014459

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...

              ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
              by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
              Some issues
              A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

              Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...
