    Lenovo L470

    hi,

can someone please help with the attached bios file for my L470.
I forgot the supervisor password after leaving switched off for a few years of no usage. I want to give it to my nephew as a gift but cant.

i have tried to read the documentation provide to self help but I find it confusing and do not want to brick the device.

    thank you

ok, so now i am getting "tamper detect when i turn it on.

I have run the autopatcher and generated a new clean bios.
in the instruction it says press the tamper button in , and remove hdd.
i can remove the hdd, before i apply the new bios using the flasher, but where is the tamper button?

It is a small switch that when you close the D cover (bottom cover of the laptop) it will affect this switch.
